Runbis Method · without starting by changing your system

Cash management first. Reporting and strategy later.

We do not come in selling software. We start with cash. First we read your current data —bank, ERP, Excel, Holded, Odoo, local accounting firm or existing system— to understand cash, collections and reporting. If the system limits control, we define what should be improved, connected or implemented.

Fixed sequence: diagnostic as the entry product → cash management as the starting point → monthly reporting as the solution → system improvement or implementation only if needed → strategy once cash is under control.

Operating principle

We do not start by changing the system: we start by understanding cash.

Most SMEs already have enough pieces to start: ERP, bank, Excel, Holded, Odoo, local accounting firm and people who execute. We check whether those pieces allow control over cash, reporting and decisions. If one of them limits control, we improve, connect or implement it.

First, use what already exists

ERP, bank, Excel, Holded, Odoo, invoicing and local accounting firm. No migration or software purchase is forced at the start.

The decision is put in order

Every indicator must have a source, owner, date, reading and action. If it does not move cash, it does not come first.

A routine is left in place

The output is not just a dashboard. It is a cash, treasury and reporting cadence that can be repeated every month. If the current system cannot support that cadence, the required improvement or implementation is defined.

Runbis sequence

From cash management to reporting. Without starting with software.

01 · Diagnostic

Measure

Cash, collections, reporting, margin and system. We measure whether there is a real lever.

02 · Cash management

Enter

Forecast, collections, critical payments, runway and first cash meeting.

03 · Reporting

Install

Minimum system for cash, aging, margin, expenses, debt and monthly reporting. It can rely on the current system or require improvement/implementation if the data does not hold.

04 · Follow-up

Maintain

Follow-up only if the cadence adds value: monthly or weekly review of cash, control and data quality.

From data to decision

We turn loose pieces into a financial routine and define whether the current system is enough.

Existing pieceCommon problemWhat Runbis doesOperating result
BankBalance is checked, not future pressure.Builds forecast, runway and critical payment calendar.Cash control by week.
ERP / Holded / OdooRecords operations, but does not always govern decisions.Identifies reliable data, errors, backlog, integrations and owners.Current system used as a control source or improved if it limits control.
ExcelFlexible sheet, but without traceability or owner.Orders source, indicator, owner, date and action.Excel as a bridge, not as blind dependency.
Local accounting firmHandles accounting and tax compliance, but does not control weekly cash.Connects closing, reporting and management decisions.Monthly operating read.
Internal teamExecutes, but does not always prioritize by cash impact.Defines cadence, owner and escalation.Less load on management.

Control room

The result is a visible routine, not a rushed technology decision.

The result is a control room management can review without depending on endless consulting. If sustaining it requires improving Holded, ERP or reporting, we raise it after measuring.

Execution principles

Cold, measurable and stripped of decoration.

No data, no opinion

Decisions are based on cash, due dates, invoicing, margin, debt and system. Not on feeling.

No owner, no control

Every blocker must have an owner and a date. A dashboard without an owner is decoration.

No cadence, no durability

Control is not installed once and then forgotten. It is reviewed weekly or monthly as needed.

Method transparency

Validated before entering. Limited before executing.

The method is designed to reduce risk: fewer promises, more written scope, minimum data, confidentiality and a clear exit.

First we work with what already exists: bank, ERP, Holded, Odoo, Excel, local accounting firm and team. Changing, improving or implementing software only makes sense if the diagnostic proves the current system prevents real control.

No cash management, reporting, Holded or ERP setup is proposed without a prior read of cash, collections, data, system and margin. The diagnostic may end in intervention, system improvement, waiting or doing nothing.

Before execution, we define what is installed, what stays out, what deliverables remain, how many hours or days are committed and how often progress is reviewed.

No access to ERP, bank, invoicing, collections or internal documentation is requested without a prior NDA. Where applicable, work is done with a dedicated user, minimum revocable permissions and preferably read-only access.

We start with cash. The system is decided later.

30 min, no cost. We validate whether a diagnostic makes sense, which minimum data to review and whether the current system seems sufficient to start.
