Over 10 years of experience behind every project.
| Code | Issue | Symptom | Solution | Runbis service |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| SG-01 | Business launched without administrative structure | The business starts trading with banking, invoices and expenses handled manually, without rules or clear owners. | Set up sales, collections and payments workflows, document storage and a deadline calendar from month one. | BCN Start&Grow™ |
| SG-02 | Disconnected advisers, banks and suppliers | Late documents, repeated requests and nobody coordinating between external parties. | One point of contact, a shared calendar and documentation ready for the local accounting adviser. | BCN Start&Grow™ |
| AR-01 | Unbilled sales | Goods delivered but the order remains open due to partial stock shortages, or services provided without an invoice. | Fix the order-to-delivery-to-invoice workflow and its bottlenecks. | Financial Operations |
| AR-02 | Overdue receivables without follow-up | Outstanding bank reconciliations and irregular reminders caused by complex bank statements. | Assign an owner, set a collections cadence, maintain actionable aging and escalation rules. | Financial Operations |
| AR-03 | Rejected or problematic SEPA direct debits | Mandates, files, statuses or collection channels create unpaid items, rework or open balances. | Review mandates, files, rejection reasons, reconciliation and recovery procedures. | Financial Operations |
| CO-01 | No visibility into margins | Prices are known, but margins are distorted by systems not configured for management reporting. | Review accounting allocations, cost centres, costs by customer, product or business line, master data and margin logic. | Financial Operations |
| GL-01 | Unreconciled items or unexplained balances | Old accounts, reclassifications, incorrect postings and balances nobody resolves. | Review accounts and supporting documents, clear open items, correct postings and establish a reconciliation routine with the local accountant. | Financial Operations |
| GL-02 | Slow or unreliable month-end close | Closing is missing or blocked by accounting backlogs. Results are estimated from VAT returns and bank statements. | Organise closing tasks, ownership, reconciliations, checks and supporting evidence. | Financial Operations |
| TR-01 | Cash without a forecast | Decisions rely on bank balances and rough estimates of collections, payments and deadlines. | Build a cash forecast, update rules and early-warning alerts. | Financial Operations |
| ERP-01 | ERP and parallel spreadsheets | The system is not trusted, so actual control takes place outside the ERP through manual workflows. | Review configuration, master data, roles, workflows and controls within the system. | Financial Operations |
| ERP-02 | Poorly configured business software | Fields, statuses, rules, permissions or automations do not reflect actual operations. | Adjust functional configuration, business rules, exceptions and control points. | Financial Operations |
| ERP-03 | Operational issues after ERP migration | Balance discrepancies, incomplete master data, interrupted workflows or inconsistent data after migration. | Functional testing, pre/post-migration reconciliation, data validation and issue resolution. | Financial Operations |
| UAT-01 | Insufficient testing before go-live | Critical end-to-end workflows are not tested before production launch. | Design UAT scenarios, test critical workflows, document defects and validate fixes. | Financial Operations |
| DATA-01 | Inconsistent master data | Duplicate or incomplete customers, suppliers, payment terms, accounts or codes. | Clean master data, assign ownership and establish creation and change controls. | Financial Operations |
| RP-01 | Late management reporting | Management receives the numbers too late to take corrective action during the month. | Reduce manual work, organise source data and establish a regular closing and dashboard cycle. | Financial Operations |
| PR-01 | Process without an owner | Work moves between administration, sales, operations and systems with no clear owner. | Define ownership, response times, handoffs, exceptions and controls. | Financial Operations |
| PR-02 | A process that works on paper but fails in practice | The team follows a different procedure or relies on uncontrolled manual steps. | Map the real workflow, remove unnecessary steps and align systems, people and controls. | Financial Operations |
